Responsible Vendor Training - Professional Inc

Professional Inc. has been helping Bay area establishments train their staff and protect their licenses since 1989.

The Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco has made it clear that in order for a beverage license holder to receive mitigation (reduced penalties) for a beverage law violation. Each license must be 100% in compliance with the requirements of the Responsible Vendor (F.S. 561.705). All of the following requirements must be met to be considered a Qualified Responsible Vendor

New Employees

Are required to complete training within 30 days of employment and managers within 15 days of employment.

Tri-Annual Update Meetings

All employees must attend an update meeting every 4 months and are required to sign a meeting roster sheet.

Records of Training

Employee forms and test records.
Personnel Questionnaire forms: A written questionnaire for the employee that must be completed as a condition of her or his employment providing the vendor their information.
The acknowledgment form (company policies): A form signed by the employee agreeing to the immediate dismissal if the employee who engages in the illegal use or sale of controlled substances (DRUGS) on the licensed premises.

Signs

Must be posted on vendor premises by management informing customers of vendor’s policies against the sale and service of alcoholic beverages or tobacco products to underage persons, or illegal use of or trafficking of controlled substances.
